100 x 100 Donne was born from an idea by Paola Gianotti, ultra cyclist promoter of the campaign for cyclist safety on the road and environmental activist, in collaboration with GAL Valli del Canavese, the Municipality of Ivrea, and the Canavese Tourist Operators Consortium, with the aim of creating a cycle tourism event exclusively dedicated to women who ride, share their stories, have fun, and feel free to challenge themselves.
It is an awareness event where the bicycle becomes a symbol of empowerment and independence, especially for women.
All proceeds from registrations will go towards funding two projects dedicated to women in Italia and Benin.
