A widespread event designed to open the doors to local history, offering the opportunity to rediscover an extraordinary cultural heritage spanning from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
Walking amongst the ancient remains of the valley is like leafing through an open-air book of stone, made up of passages, exchanges and millennia-old identities
This year’s edition focuses on the theme ‘Heritage in Danger’, a choice that shines a spotlight on the profound fragility of archaeological heritage. These monuments are not eternal: they are constantly exposed to the ravages of time, environmental changes and neglect.
The event thus becomes a collective call to awareness, reminding us that safeguarding and protecting these vulnerable treasures is the only way to preserve their memory and pass it on intact to future generations.
