From the morning onwards, take a stroll through the centre of Mattie and browse the colourful stalls featuring a wide range of local produce, plant nurseries and gardening supplies; throughout the day, you can also find out about growing techniques and pick up a free packet of Baracafè seeds to plant in your own vegetable patch.
• 10.00 am: big treasure hunt for young and old
• 10.30 am: opening of the 2nd Bean Festival
• 11.00 am: Vintage motorbike, Vespa and Apecar rally, open to all, with a route of around 10 km through the hamlets of Mattie
• 12.30 pm: food stalls open
• 2.30 pm: petanque tournament
The Mattie Philharmonic Society will liven up the afternoon with music and plenty of fun!
