As part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Guardia di Finanza, Palazzo Madama is hosting in the Medieval Court the exhibition 250 YEARS - TRADITION AND THE FUTURE, which offers a true immersion in the history of the Guardia di Finanza. In fact, visitors have the opportunity to walk through a structure that wraps them in the chronological succession of the most significant moments and events that have marked the history of the Corps.
The exhibition starts in 1774, the year the Light Troops Legion of the Kingdom of Sardinia was established, the first Italian example of a Corps conceived for military and customs surveillance at the borders, and arrives at the modern and versatile economic-financial police force of today.
