In Usseglio on Thursday 13 August, the 30th edition of the Valley Natural Products and Crafts Fair is scheduled to take place in Piazza Cesare Ferro Millone and on Viale degli Alpini.
The event is not just a craft market, but an occasion that brings together tradition, art, the mountains and fun for the whole family.
The Fair will open at 9.30 am, with over 90 exhibitors expected to attend.
The woodcarving competition will begin at 10 am, offering visitors the chance to admire the skills of the students from the local craft schools.
The Usseglio Pro Loco, organiser of the Fair, will be serving lunch from 12 noon; visitors can book a set menu on the spot featuring polenta, fondue, vegetables and stew, or enjoy a sandwich with ‘Mac d’Usoei’ Turgia salami. The Pro Loco’s culinary offerings will continue until snack time, and from 3.30 pm visitors will be able to enjoy apple fritters.
