The eighth edition of the traditional tribute to the playwright, poet and librettist Giuseppe Giacosa.
The opening on Friday 4th is reserved for the world premiere of *Giacosa e il dramma del non detto* (*Giacosa and the Drama of the Unspoken*), inspired by the play *Tristi amori*: a performance that blends contemporary dance, aerial acrobatics, lighting effects and live music, featuring Mery Veltro and Pier Paolo Viale.
On Saturday 5th, *In naturale disaccordo*, written and performed by Laura Curino, takes to the stage: the great actress offers playful reflections on passions, loves and contrasts linked to places, food and nature, with forays into Giacosa’s poetry and writings.
On Sunday 6th, following the tribute to the poet’s haunts, there will be the only opportunity of the year to immerse oneself in the atmosphere of Casa Giacosa, the ‘Grande Arca’, through special guided tours of the poet’s home.
The park will then provide the ideal setting for the Festival’s closing event, *Passione Geniale*: talks by Andrea Albertini, author of the novel *Una famiglia straordinaria*, and Pierluigi Panza, a journalist at *Corriere della Sera*, author of the column *Fatto ad arte* and an art critic. It will be an opportunity to mark the 120th anniversary of Giuseppe Giacosa’s death and the 150th anniversary of the founding of *Corriere della Sera*, the daily newspaper edited by Luigi Albertini for twenty-five years.
