The 2026 Sustainable Development Festival offers an engaging and inspiring experience for anyone interested in mindful eating, the environment and animal welfare.
Here’s what’s in store for you:
• talks & guests: listen to industry experts and discover new perspectives on the vegan and sustainable world. Guests include: Matteo Cupi (Animal Equality), Dr Silvia Francesca Teisa (biologist and nutritionist), Dr Maurizio Conte (paediatrician), Alberto Leonardi (life coach, world champion in acrobatic martial arts), Dr Lorenzo Ferrante, Sauro Martella and Renata Baducci (Veganok)
• plant-based street food: treat your taste buds to a wide variety of gourmet vegan dishes and street food delights
• workshops: learn new recipes, discover culinary secrets and take part in children’s workshops; 10am open yoga class, 6pm open postural class
• stalls: explore an exhibition area brimming with vegan products, sustainable crafts, hobbyists, producers and much more
• live music: 5pm acoustic duo Voce e Corde; 8pm closing concert featuring hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s with Discomania
Over the two preceding days, other themed events will take place:
• Friday 2, 9pm - Cine-Teatro Fassino: I’ll Never Be Vegan, explore the issues that lead people to choose a more sustainable lifestyle
• Saturday 3 - Bertotto Auditorium: Bestial Trials, a theatre production suitable for adult audiences
• Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 - Porta Ferrata Gallery: Beyond the Limits of the Species, a group exhibition
