On the occasion of the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, the Royal Museums, in collaboration with the State Archives, are paying tribute to the prestigious international tournament by exhibiting some precious works on the second floor of the Sabauda Gallery that document how the game of tennis – or rather, its ancestor, the “jeu de paume”, i.e. the game of palm or 'pallacorda' – was also enthusiastically practised at court by the Dukes of Savoy.
