Archaeometry meets the public

From 27/03/2026 to 08/05/2026
Torino
Culture & Tradition

By combining natural sciences and archaeology, archaeometry allows for the chronological assessment of artefacts, the provenance determination of materials, the reconstruction of palaeoenvironments, and the investigation of patterns of mobility and interaction among ancient communities.

Through this special series of events, the ISA 2026 organisers (University of Torino, AIAr, CCR “La Venaria Reale”, Museo Egizio, INFN and the Musei Reali) invite the public to explore the people, places and discoveries that are shaping archaeometry today.
