The Garda Museum invites everyone to take part in “Waiting for the 5 Lakes. Ivrea tells its story on foot”, a cultural walk that combines exploring the town’s historical heritage with a charity initiative.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 5 September, with participants meeting at 3.30 pm at the Race Village in Piazza Ottinetti and setting off at 4.00 pm.
The tour, led by archaeologist Lorenza Boni, curator of the Garda Museum’s archaeological collection, will take participants on a journey through the remains of ancient Eporedia and the sites that illustrate Ivrea’s evolution over the centuries.
Booking is recommended by 3 September by emailing musei@comune.ivrea.to.it, subject to availability (maximum 60 participants).
At the end of the tour, participants will be welcomed back at the Race Village with refreshments.
