A new, exciting musical event, a tribute to one of the world's most famous peace songs.
At the centre of the concert is the famous song El Condor Pasa, a Peruvian zarzuela that has become a universal symbol of harmony and freedom, included by NASA in the Voyager probe, launched into space in 1977 with the task of representing humanity before any extraterrestrial 'interlocutors'.
Interpreting it on the friscaletto, a traditional Sicilian reed wind instrument, is multi-instrumentalist and populariser Nino Carriglio; at the piano, maestro Domenica Laura Brunetta. The concert also proposes an original homage to the animal world through music: pieces such as Franz Liszt's L'Usignolo, Jean-Philippe Rameau's La Gallina, Camille Saint-Saëns' Il Cigno, Robert Schumann's L'Uccello profeta and others will compose a fascinating and enthralling journey.
Completing the programme is the group exhibition The Animal World.
