The exhibition, held in the rooms of the Pinacoteca Albertina, aims to help visitors discover and rediscover the main Flemish and Dutch works from the Mossi di Morano donation, investigating the origins of the collection and relating it to other major collections of Nordic paintings and drawings that have been formed in Piedmont over the centuries.
The second part of the exhibition will feature some significant works by Nordic bamboccianti in Piedmont and by 18th-century Piedmontese artists influenced by them, with a 19th-century appendix, which is epigonic but highly significant.
The exhibition aims to be an opportunity to highlight some unpublished paintings that have never been exhibited to the public, with the contribution of some renowned Italian and foreign specialists.
