“Biennale Democrazia” is a cultural event which aims to create and spread a culture of democracy. It is an ongoing public workshop that encourages dialogue and is open to all, with a special welcome for young people.
Under the title Wars and Peaces, the 9th edition will explore conflict, violence and war, reflecting on the constant threat of clashes within democratic societies and the current context of increasing global tension. A unique opportunity to reflect on democracy as a tool for peaceful coexistence between individuals, nations and species. If conflict is an intrinsic component of the plural nature of our societies, democratic institutions must reconfirm their central role in the peaceful resolution of disputes.
