The theme 2025, Velomobility. A city for all wheels, invites us to rethink the concept of active mobility in a broad way: non-motorized, environmentally friendly, sustainable mobility that is capable of giving people back public space and making the urban environment accessible, safe, and inclusive.
Bicycles, along with cargo bikes, tricycles, electric bikes, handbikes, and wheelchairs, represent a whole universe of light vehicles that must become protagonists of urban planning. Not just two wheels, therefore, but a plurality of inclusive and accessible means of transport, capable of restoring centrality to territories and giving space back to people.
