Recognized by critics as one of the most exciting young talents on the international jazz scene, Eleonora Strino grew up in a creative family.
Her father and sister were prominent fine art painters, but it was music that attracted Eleonora. She began playing guitar as a teenager, and after hearing Jim Hall play with Bill Evans she knew she wanted to become a jazz guitarist.
Neapolitan, she quickly showed that she had the world as her horizon: she is a member of Dado Moroni and Emanuele Cisi's quartets, Greg Cohen's trio, and The Great Guitarist group with Ulf Wakenius and Martin Taylor.
February 2025 saw the release of her latest work, Matilde, with Claudio Vignali on piano, Giulio Corini on double bass, and Zeno De Rossi on drums. Corini and De Rossi also accompany her live in this concert.
