On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August, Alpette will host the second and final round of the 2026 B.I.U. BikeTrial World Championship, which also counts as the fourth round of the UISP National BikeTrial Championship. The event is organised by the Valli del Canavese Trial Team in collaboration with the Municipality of Alpette, with the support of the Piedmont Regional Council and under the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Turin.
The event will feature competitive adult categories, amateur categories competing for the World Cup, youth categories (aged 7 to 15, divided into age groups) and the women’s category.
The start will be in the village, whilst the competition sections will be set up along a completely natural looped course of approximately 2 km near the village of Alpette. The sections will be easily accessible on foot and also for people with disabilities.
On Friday 7 August, the programme includes athlete registration, the parade of national teams and the presentation of the event with local, metropolitan and regional authorities.
On Saturday 8 August, the competitions for the youth categories (aged 7 to 15), the amateur categories and the women’s category are scheduled.
Sunday 9 August will be dedicated to the competitive categories: the world’s top athletes will compete for around five hours on an extremely spectacular course.
