Conferenze sul cinema

The Società Canottieri Sirio in Ivrea is organising three sessions on the history of cinema, led by Debora Bocchiardo, a journalist and author: short film clips and engaging, accessible commentary offer a simple and entertaining way to rediscover the genius of actors and directors, whilst not forgetting their human side and the great value of their art.

• 16 October – Anna Magnani: the face of cinematic Neorealism

• 30 October – Marilyn Monroe: the timeless diva, in the year marking the centenary of her birth

• 13 November – Mariangela Melato: between cinema and theatre
