A musical event of great intensity.
The title evokes the condition of the human being as a creature among creatures, underlining a theme of profound topicality in the light of the ecological crisis that is affecting our time. The biblical vision of Creation offers valuable food for thought: the relationship between the human being and the rest of the living world is not only spiritual but profoundly ecological, rooted in respect and the original balance of life.
The concert offers a musical journey through two works by Darius Milhaud, dedicated respectively to the creation of animal and human life and to the destructive force of irrationality. A musical fairy tale composed by Carla Rebora acts as a leitmotif, which, through a poetic story with a family of moles as protagonists, recounts the cycle of life and harmony with nature.
The pieces are performed on the piano by Angelo Degiorgis, Sije Huo, Lucia Tortorella, Samuele Tozzi and Simone Triolo.
Enriching the experience is the exhibition The Animal World with works by contemporary Turin artists.
