In the show *Il Ripetente*, the comedian returns to school, taking on the role of a perpetual pupil of life, who keeps sitting life’s exam but with an answer sheet copied from himself, in the tragicomic tale of a man who realises he has made the same mistake three, four, a hundred times. Realising that, not knowing how to turn his life around, he finds himself obsessively repeating his best routine with friends, women, work colleagues and relatives, just like an actor seeking approval.
An ironic journey through déjà vu, own goals and questions he has never managed to answer: such as why we persist in seeking happiness in the very same places where we lost it.
