Who am I?
It is the question of questions, the one that everyone, sooner or later, asks themselves in life.
It is the question that Franco Battiato asked himself when he was only eight years old, when he began his journey. Years of impulses, provocations, falling in love, successes, fiascos, unpredictable flights and rapid ascents.
In an ideal journey through about ten songs reinterpreted with love, audacity and irony, two voices, one narrator and the other singer, and a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist tell Battiato's story in music, asking the audience the same question.
A performance dedicated to the music and poetics of Franco Battiato, Il mare nel cassetto unites on stage Silvia Boschero, journalist and radio presenter, with the musical complicity of violinist Anais Drago, one of the most appreciated young Italian talents on the jazz scene, and Giua, eclectic Genoese singer-songwriter who has already taken part in the Sanremo festival, guitarist, bass player and has also been applauded many times in theatre projects.
