European Researchers' Night at Regional Museum of Natural Sciences

The European Researchers’ Night is an initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005 and involves thousands of researchers and research institutions every year.

This year, the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences in Torino is offering educational workshops for families and meetings with staff: an opportunity to feel like a researcher for a day and discover past explorations, current initiatives and future projects.

• 6-7 pm Collections to Discover: stories and research behind the scenes at the MRSN 

• 7-8 pm The Museum’s historical collections. Rocks and minerals tell the story of exploration 

• 8.30-9.30 pm The palaeontologist’s craft today: behind the scenes at a museum

• 9.30-10.30 pm Mammalian skulls and teeth: forms, functions and adaptations
