To mark the 45th Porcini Mushroom Fair in Giaveno, a guided mountain bike ride to explore the trails and woods of the Sangone Valley.

• meeting point at 9am in Piazza San Lorenzo

• distance: approx. 32km

• elevation gain: approx. 750m D+

• duration: approx. 3h

• helmets required

A challenging route, featuring numerous climbs and requiring a good level of mountain biking skill. The tour will take you through the lush heart of the Sangone Valley, starting with the climb towards La Tora; we will then reach the Polatera reservoir, surrounded by the greenery and tranquillity of the woods, where time seems to slow down; the route will continue towards Balangero and then on to La Maddalena, where, before heading back, you’ll have the chance to stop for lunch (not included in the registration fee) and savour the true ‘gold’ of the Sangone Valley: the porcini mushroom.

An experience designed for those who want to explore the Sangone Valley by bike, amidst nature, panoramic views, trails and tradition, right in the midst of the festival dedicated to its most famous attraction.

The route is subject to change.
