Over the past thirty years, the festival has become a national benchmark for artists, companies, teachers, cultural professionals and, above all, for the children and young people who fill the theatres every year to discover the stories, languages and visions of contemporary theatre.
Giocateatro Torino is, first and foremost, a meeting place: between artists and audiences, between generations, between imagination and reality. A space where theatre becomes an opportunity to see the world through new eyes.
Over three days, the programme spans a variety of theatrical forms and styles – storytelling theatre, dance, visual theatre, live music, video and new technologies – with fifteen performances designed for audiences of different ages, from the very youngest to teenagers.
