For the first time, an entire exhibition is dedicated to Primo Levi as a writer of letters.
Giro di posta recounts the vast network of correspondence that Primo Levi maintained for more than twenty years with his German interlocutors: men and women readers of If This is a Man, friends, intellectuals and even someone who was ‘on the other side’ in Auschwitz. The correspondences on display span almost half a century of European history and reflect on the memory of the extermination, but also on Europe and Germany divided in two. The four languages - Italian, French, English and German - used by Levi are interwoven.
The letters are accompanied by previously unpublished images, maps, drawings and much more.
Admission included in the entrance ticket.
