EVERY WEDNESDAY As part of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the Colombano Romean Pertus, Chiomonte Sport Academy ASD is offering a series of guided hikes to discover one of the most extraordinary examples of Alpine hydraulic engineering from the 16th century.
The hike starts with a meeting point at 8:30 a.m. in Piazza del Comune, Chiomonte. Participants will travel by their own vehicles to Grange della Valle (Exilles), where the excursion begins. The trail passes through Grange Clot Brun before reaching the Colombano Romean Pertus, combining history, culture and nature in one of the most fascinating areas of the Upper Susa Valley.
Thanks to the financial support of the Municipality of Chiomonte, a special promotional rate of €10.00 per person will be applied, plus €6.00 for the mandatory insurance (unless participants already hold a valid membership providing insurance coverage). The promotional rate will remain valid until the funds allocated to the initiative are exhausted. After that, the participation fee will return to the standard rate of €20.00 per person, plus any applicable insurance fee.
Participants are required to wear suitable hiking boots and bring water, a packed lunch and standard hiking equipment. The initiative aims to promote the knowledge and appreciation of the Colombano Romean Pertus, giving both residents and visitors the opportunity to discover this unique historical monument accompanied by experienced guides. Please note: A valid medical certificate stating fitness for non-competitive sporting activity (good health) is mandatory for participation. A photocopy or scanned copy of the certificate is accepted.
