Guided excursion in the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Nature Park to learn about the scientific aspects and discover interesting facts, behaviour patterns and monitoring data on the main species of birds of prey and vultures found in the Alps. During the excursion, we will reach the upper reaches of the Gran Bosco and Testa dell’Assietta.
Meeting point: Sauze d’Oulx Tourist Office
Departure: 8.00 am
Shuttle bus transport to the Ser Blanc picnic area, the park’s access point.
Return: approximately 5.00 pm by shuttle bus from Ser Blanc to the Sauze d’Oulx Tourist Office

Participants are responsible for their own packed lunch.
Packed lunch/picnic available from the “Jack Canali” mountain hut – Casa Assietta – at a cost of €12.50. Booking essential by the Friday before the hike on 0122 456 329
Mountain clothing, rain jacket, suitable walking shoes, sun cream, hat and water.
This is a challenging hike and is not suitable for those with altitude or blood pressure issues.
Total elevation gain: approximately 850 metres
The hike may be cancelled in the event of adverse weather conditions.
