To coincide with Torino Design City a special, free edition of our design tour is back!
In the heart of Torino, a route winds its way through a blend of design, history and contemporary visions. The tour begins in Piazza Castello, where you’ll step into the timeless atmosphere of Baratti & Milano, a historic café with Art Nouveau charm, before continuing to FRAV, a concept store that embodies a contemporary urban aesthetic.
The tour continues to the Galleria Subalpina, featuring the refurbished Libreria Luxemburg, which strikes a balance between classicism and modern interventions. Not far away, the spectacular grand staircase of the Museo del Risorgimento catches the eye with its theatrical lighting and proportions.
The tour continues in the foyer of the Teatro Regio, designed by Carlo Mollino, where curved forms and metallic reflections create a visionary space. It concludes in Piazza Mollino, in front of the Cavallerizza Reale construction site, a symbol of the dialogue between past and future.
