A walk through the medieval village of S. Ambrogio di Torino, a fortified town whose remains of ancient buildings and walls are still visible at the foot of Mount Pirchiriano.
For centuries, this village was the gateway to the Sacra di San Michele for all the pilgrims traveling along the Via Francigena in the Susa Valley, a magical place where the Middle Ages are still present in the remains of the ancient castle, towers, and charming streets leading to the parish church, which houses remarkable artistic works.
The tour includes a visit to the Meliga Museum, dedicated to the town’s traditional biscuits; a tasting of this specialty; and a climb to the panoramic bell tower. The visit will end at the renowned S. Michele Brewery, where participants will have the opportunity to taste the beer and independently enjoy a meal.
