The village of Bussoleno has a medieval heart. It developed around the important Via Francigena and it is still possible to admire the ancient perimetric walls, the beautiful Casa Aschieri (a house dating back the the XIV century), the impressive Palazzo Lascaris, the Locanda della Croce Bianca and the marvelous water mill that is still functioning.
The “Medieval life and ancient mills” itinerary, through a fun treasure hunt, will reveal the story of the village, enriched with myths and legends of arrogant feudal lords, helpless peasants, greedy merchands and bandits.

Easy walk, suitable for children from 6 years of age. At the end of the activity it will be possible to visit the Varesio Mill and the Museo Vita di Montagna (Mountain life museum).

Length: 2 km
Duration: 2 hours
Meeting point: 2:30 p.m. at the mark square in Bussoleno.

The following are essential: training shoes, comfortable clothes, water.
