Discover 17th-century Pinerolo, when the town was a strategic fortress of the Kingdom of France and a crossroads of power, intrigue and state secrets. A guided tour will take you through iconic sites and hidden corners of the historic centre, where the past comes to life through stories, characters and the atmosphere of bygone eras.
As we stroll amongst city walls, palaces and ancient prisons, we’ll discover the figures who shaped the history of French Pinerolo: governors, military figures, nobles and illustrious prisoners. The tour ends at the heart of the event with a visit dedicated to ‘17th-century tailoring’, organised by the event’s organisers.
