On Sunday 13 September, the Strada delle Mele Pinerolese becomes an open-air museum for you to explore at your own pace. We’re offering a special format: no groups, no fixed departure times. You’ll be the star of your own day.
A detailed route map will guide you from Cavour to the Chapel of Stella a Macello. You can cycle through the tranquillity of the countryside, stop to take photos in the orchards and manage your time as you wish, safe in the knowledge that some of the area’s most important cultural heritage sites will be open and ready to welcome you.

The stops on your journey
Along the route, you’ll have access to exceptional historical sites which, for the occasion, will offer special openings and cultural insights:
- Abbey of Santa Maria (Cavour): the ideal starting point, combining millennia-old art with a sense of wonder. Open 9.00–13.00. ‘Apple’ breakfast served until 10.30!
- Monte Bruno Sanctuary (Garzigliana): a peaceful and beautiful stop along the route. Open 11.00–13.30.
- Macello Castle Park: the elegance of a unique historic park. Open 14.30–17.30.
- Stella Chapel (Macello): a gem of 15th-century rural art, just waiting to be discovered. Open from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
To make your cycle ride even more enjoyable, a snack pack featuring local produce is included. You can collect it at the Stella Chapel and enjoy it wherever you like.

- Cycle at your own pace: set off at the time of your choosing and visit the sites listed during their scheduled opening hours.
