Following pianist Maria João Pires' announcement that she is retiring from concert performances, Lingotto Musica welcomes maestro Pierre-Laurent Aimard alongside the Camerata Salzburg, conducted by its concertmaster Giovanni Guzzo.
The programme remains faithful to its Mozartian vocation - on the day marking the 270th anniversary of the birth of the genius from Salzburg - and is enriched by the Concert for Piano and Orchestra No. 17 in G major, KV 453, included at the end of the evening in place of Schubert's Symphony No. 5.
The first part remains unchanged: Piano Concert KV 595 and a selection of Minuets, framed by the overture to The Philosopher's Soul by Haydn.
Tickets and season tickets already purchased remain valid.
