Presentation of the recent volume edited by Piercarlo Pazé dedicated to the 13th-century delphic enquiries, known in France and Italy as Probus.
In addition to various commentary essays, the volume contains the first complete edition of the territorial enquiries on the high valley of the Dora Riparia preserved in the departmental archives of Grenoble. The localities concerned are Chiomonte, Exilles, Salbertrand, Oulx, Sauze d'Oulx, Beaulard, Bardonecchia, Rochemolles, Cesana, Sauze di Cesana, Clavière and Sestrière. Furthermore, there are the first references to the Auruce who controlled the castle of Exilles for the Dauphin in those years.
The presentation will be curated by historian Rinaldo Comba and archaeologist Anna Gattiglia; one of the authors, paleographer-archivist Pier Luca Patria, will speak, with the support of projected images.
