Into the Light. Anthony McCall, Solid Light

The exhibitions at the Reggia of Venaria span the international scene with the new artistic languages and expressions of Anthony McCall, a British artist known for his solid light installations.

His light sculptures consist of spectacular flat, curved and conical beams of light that outline volumes which, like physical blades, cut through darkened spaces. At the Venaria Reale, through a new contemporary interpretation, they interact with the Baroque rooms and perspectives of the Reggia, directly involving visitors in experiences that expand and transcend traditional artistic cinema performances.
