To mark the special opening at the weekend as part of the European Heritage Days (EHD 2026), the National University Library of Turin is offering access to the Queen Margherita Room and the ‘Marcinelle 1956–2026’ exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of Belgium in Turin.

An event entitled ‘Digital Wellbeing’ is also scheduled for the morning, featuring a talk by Stefano Boati and Anna Garavini (creators of the ‘Patti digitali’ project) focusing on the protection and digital wellbeing of children. The aim is to raise awareness of the responsible use of technology to prevent cyberbullying, isolation, addiction and overexposure to screens and the uncontrolled dynamics of the internet.

This will be followed by an educational activity for young people as part of the ‘Ambassador of Wellbeing’ training programme: the workshop will focus on social networks, algorithms and the manipulation of information within the digital ecosystem.
