La Terra Fabbricata - 2026

The exhibition *La terra fabbricata. Landscape, Energy and Labour in the Edison Film Collection of the National Cinema and Business Archive in Ivrea* is part of the RE-PLAY 2026 project and stems from a participatory curatorial process that involves local residents in interpreting the Archive’s audiovisual heritage. At the heart of the event is the Edison Collection, which chronicles Italy’s transformation in the 20th century through images of dams, industry, agriculture and communities. The materials also include films by Ermanno Olmi, which successfully blend documentary and poetic exploration. The exhibition unfolds in the Archive’s outdoor spaces, in direct dialogue with Olivetti’s architecture, transforming the visit into an immersive and expansive experience.
