On 25 August 2025, the great cycling stage race Vuelta a España will be in Piedmont, in the province of Turin.
The route of the 3rd stage of the race covers 135 km from San Maurizio Canavese to Ceres, with some ups and downs, a mountain grand prix at Castelnuovo Nigra, and a passage through the Valli di Lanzo.
The municipalities crossed are: San Maurizio Canavese, Vauda Canavese, Rivarolo Canavese, San Giorgio Canavese, Puerto Issiglio, Cuorgné, Corio, Lanzo Torinese and Ceres.
