In the 2024/2025 season programme of the Superga Theatre in Nichelino, Lirica a corte is back on stage. Faust's quest for eternal youth and amorous happiness, Marguerite's lost purity and Mephistopheles' non-conformist and rebellious maieutics represent, in Boito's scapigliata and ideological reading, the best Italian response to the many theatrical and musical transpositions.
