The historic car 447 from Trieste will take you around the centre of Turin, illuminated by evening lights.
Car 447 was part of a series of 20 trams purchased by Acegat of Trieste and produced by Officine Meccaniche della Stanga of Padua in 1938. With the gradual reduction of the tram network in Trieste, six trams were sold between 1960 and 1965 to Stefer of Rome. The latter converted them with a single cab and used them on the two remaining sections of the Castelli Romani tramway.
The ATTS received the 447 as a gift from a group of Roman enthusiasts and oversaw its restoration, which returned the tram to the condition it was in in the 1930s.
On board, our volunteers will tell you the story of the recovery of this unique vehicle, rescued and put back into operation after years of neglect.
Approximate duration of the tour 25 minutes.
Reservation required.
