During the holidays, Susa dresses up for Christmas, and the city's shop windows also become protagonists of its atmosphere: strolling through the downtown streets, visitors can discover the Christmas window displays created by local merchants, filled with lights, colors, decorations, and plenty of creativity.
This year, Christmas also meets the history of Susa with Medieval Christmas Enchantment: in fact, some shop windows can be enriched with medieval-inspired details and settings, creating a suggestive link between the magic of the holidays and the city's historical soul.
The shop windows will be evaluated by a jury, and those that choose to interpret the medieval theme as well will receive an additional score; the award ceremony will be held on January 6.
