A special day as part of the ‘Events for All’ programme, a series of events taking place at various locations and featuring a range of edutainment activities, aimed not only at people with disabilities and their families but also at anyone wishing to learn more about the Vinovo area and the world of horses. A shuttle bus will run between the various points of interest from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 17.30.
At the Racecourse, the day begins with an interactive session with the staff of Scuderia da Campioni. In the green area adjacent to the racecourse, participants will take part in the association’s classic activities: from interacting with the sensory board to moving straw and hay, from managing a stable box to learning how to attach the halter to the horse.
The second stop, in collaboration with Le Terre di Wendy, is set up in the fenced-off green area in front of the racecourse entrance for activities such as grooming the horse and leading it by hand with a lead rope, possibly culminating in a ride.
The third stop will be at the historic Cascina Vicomanino within the Stupinigi Nature Park, where visitors can enjoy the experience of riding in a real horse-drawn carriage with Servizi in Carrozza.
Until 1.00 pm, there will also be a fourth stop at Castello Della Rovere, where visitors can discover all the secrets of this Turin gem.
Lunch, from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm, can be enjoyed in a cheerful and convivial atmosphere at the L’Alfiere restaurant inside the racecourse, with something to suit every taste.
