The historic Chialva Distillery is once again a cultural and experiential hub with two charity events:
Omia Menta, commemorating 160 years of mint cultivation in Pancalieri by the family, with the theme “Preserving - Sharing - Passing on: the Culture of Cultivation”, featuring art - the work of Maurilio Pagnone - exhibitions, meetings and tastings, aimed at promoting local culture and gastronomy.
Il Giardino Ritrovato (The Rediscovered Garden) commemorates 200 years of the Villa Giacosa Valfrè di Bonzo monumental complex.
The garden began its rebirth in the project by architect Paolo Pejrone. The 2025 exhibition traces the concrete thinking that inspired his work. The extensive redevelopment, historical, botanical and landscape reconstruction, in accordance with architect Pejrone's intentions, are aimed at restoring a unique piece of Italian cultural heritage.
The charity events will be held in aid of the Scuolina Santa Teresina di Paolo. The works supporting it will be presented by the author, Dr Gabriella Galvagno.
