The fourth edition of the walk with an aperitif in the municipality of Chianocco: a slow experience amidst nature, traditions and local flavours.
The walk, which is easy and relaxing (around 3 km on dirt tracks and footpaths; trainers are recommended), winds through the valley floor, passing fields of wheat and cereals which, in spring and summer, offer a picturesque display of poppies and cornflowers. Along the route, there will be three food stops, offering tastings of local produce.
Thanks to the presence of historical and nature guides, participants will also be guided on a discovery of:
• the history and interesting facts about Chianocco
• the plant and animal species that inhabit the surrounding fields and woods
From 2.00 pm at the start/finish point, there will be a market featuring typical local produce, where you can learn about and purchase the region’s finest products directly from the producers: a wide range of specialities and handcrafted goods; dancing with the Occitan group Parenaperde.
In the event of bad weather, the event may be cancelled.
