A new, original, compelling production to tell the story of Maria Cristina of Bourbon, the first Madama Reale, on her journey from Paris to Torino on the occasion of her marriage to Victor Amadeus I.
The Consort Maghini has the task of musically accompanying this journey, through the performance of the wonderful music of Enrico Antonio Radesca and Sigismondo d'India.
The performance is introduced at 8 p.m. by a presentation by Cristina Santarelli of the Institute for Musical Heritage in Piedmont.
