A compelling account of the 1970s and 1980s seen through the lens of photographer Angelo Frontoni, who, with elegance and irony, was able to capture the spirit and contradictions of those years.
The exhibition begins in the Aula del Tempio, where visitors are greeted by three giant screens positioned 18 meters above the panoramic elevator: here, some of the portraits in the exhibition come to life, seemingly floating in the dome of the Mole Antonelliana.
Along the Helical Ramp, 200 photographs portray 62 national and international artists and accompany visitors on a journey through images from 1968 to the end of the 1980s. Two decades of great social and political transformation, well recounted and interpreted by the protagonists of those years, actors, singers, and models. From Jane Fonda to Brigitte Bardot, from Jane Birkin to Claudia Cardinale, from Fabio Testi to Ringo Starr, from Elsa Martinelli to Marisa Mell, from Ilona Staller to Moana Pozzi, from Edwige Fenech to the Kessler sisters, from Loredana Berté to Ornella Vanoni and Raffaella Carrà, ending - or beginning - with Patty Pravo.
