Penultimate Sunday of Carnival characterised by numerous events as a prelude to the following week's Carnival. There will be the Fagiolate di Montenavale, Cuj dij Vigne, Torre Balfredo and Santi Pietro e Donato; the presentation of the floats and parade through the streets of the centre; the Re-parade of the inhabitants of the San Maurizio and Borghetto districts on the Ponte Vecchio; the Raising of the Abbà with the parade of the Historical Procession; and will conclude with the Generala in Piazza di Città, the ancient ceremony of nomination and presentation to the city of the parish representatives within the Carnival, one of the most heartfelt appointments for the people of Ivrea.
