A cultural event that combines historical storytelling and singer-songwriter music to celebrate Piedmontese identity, highlighting its local roots and international dimension.
The initiative was launched with the aim of deepening understanding of and fostering a sense of belonging to Piedmont’s cultural heritage, engaging diverse audiences through complementary forms of expression.
The evening opens with the presentation of Carlo Bosso’s book *Razza Nostrana*, which tells the story of his family who emigrated to Argentina in the late 19th century. The central figure of the narrative is Don Horacio Bosso, a symbol of memory and Piedmontese migrant identity. The novel offers an intense insight into history and humanity, rooted in the local area yet open to the world. The discussion with the author will be moderated by Laura Pompeo and enriched by screenings and in-depth analysis.
There will also be a taste of Piedmontese music, blending tradition and innovation. Borgatta’s Factory, a trio comprising Silvano Borgatta and his sons Alberto and Luca, presents a musical exploration that combines tradition with contemporary sounds, creating a dialogue between past and present.
Following this, singer-songwriter Luigi Antinucci will perform a repertoire alternating between original songs and reinterpretations of works by Piedmontese artists such as Gianmaria Testa, Paolo Conte and Gipo Farassino, portraying the region through a poetic and urban lens.
