The full-day guided tour includes:

a visit to the Museum, presented in a manner appropriate to the age of the group. The exhibition offers a thematic tour that introduces pupils to basic human needs and ancient technologies. Of particular note are the reconstruction of the interior of a Neolithic hut and the diorama of a Bronze Age workshop. The display panels on the daily life of early humans are complemented by others covering the different periods as well as prehistory in the Susa Valley: archaeological sites, geological and cultural evolution. The guided tour includes hands-on experiences with the Tactile Collection: the opportunity to touch and explore the artefacts directly

archaeological trail through the woods: a walk that is not overly demanding but requires suitable footwear and clothing. Passing through the evocative scenery of the remains of the ancient gneiss quarry, you reach the main stops: the Rumiano Rock Shelter (site of archaeological finds), the Baità (site where the prehistoric village is thought to have stood, and where a Neolithic hut has been reconstructed) and the Marshland Area

• educational workshops: introduced by a theoretical talk, these workshops feature materials, tools and techniques used in prehistoric times. You can choose a workshop from the website (the ‘schools’ page is organised by school year)
