To mark the solar eclipse on August 12, the Italian Astrophilately Association (ASITAF) has organized—for the first time in Italy—a special postmark from Poste Italiane commemorating the event: It will be available at the Castello della Contessa Adelaide in Susa—accessible from Via Impero Romano 2—from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
he same venue is also hosting the philatelic exhibition “Total Solar Eclipses in the Space Age,” which is part of the museum’s permanent exhibition.
