Tra uomo e natura. Un viaggio nella cultura cinese del tè

From 25/09/2026 to 04/10/2026
Torino
Culture & Tradition

The exhibition is based on a project conceived by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) in collaboration with the Confucius Institute and the Department of Humanities.

The exhibition traces the most significant milestones in the history of tea and explores its profound cultural significance and role in shaping identity within Chinese society, including through engaging games and interactive activities.

During the exhibition, two documentaries will be screened, dedicated to the cultural landscape of Mount Jingmai, recognised in 2023 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the only site that preserves ancient tea forests and the cultural practices associated with them.

To mark the exhibition’s opening on Friday 25 September, the Confucius Institute will also celebrate the Mid-Autumn Feast, with a little surprise for attendees.

On the weekends of 26-27 September and 3-4 October, the public will be able to attend, by booking in advance, a tea ceremony led by an expert, followed by a guided tasting session.
